Rising Against the Odds: Honoured with the Inspiring Women Award
In November 2023, I had the distinct honour of receiving the Inspiring Women Award during the NHN Meet and Greet event held in Singapore a powerful gathering of over 100 incredible women under the theme “Rise Against the Odds.”
This recognition holds deep meaning for me. It came during a year filled with personal challenges, professional growth, and bold decisions all rooted in resilience and faith. To stand in that room, surrounded by women from all walks of life, and be acknowledged for inspiring others to keep going despite the storms… it was both humbling and uplifting.
At Marvgallup, we had the privilege of coordinating the planning, itinerary, and logistics for this event. Though it wasn’t without its challenges from unexpected hiccups to moments of uncertainty we pulled through. The strength of the community, the grace of our attendees, and the purpose behind the gathering made it a beautiful success.
I remain deeply grateful to Mummy NHN, the incredible convener of this life-changing event. Thank you for trusting me, believing in my brand, and giving me chances over and over again. Your unwavering support and continued faith in me, especially in moments when things didn’t go perfectly, means more than words can express. You are a true light, and I am blessed to walk this journey under your covering.
Being presented with this award in a space I helped curate was a full-circle moment. It reminded me why I do what I do to empower, uplift, and walk alongside women rising against the odds.
I dedicate this award to every woman who’s had to push through the pain, start over, or keep going when it made no sense. May we continue to rise, and may our stories light the path for others.
